Team Derby is for those students studying sports courses at the University or those thinking of doing so, we have experienced professionals delivering on our programmes and supporting all the areas of Team Derby which ensures a unique sporting experience for all students.

Our partnerships with local professional sports clubs and sporting bodies ensures that we can offer new and exciting opportunities for all as well as links to develop a career in sport through work placements and job experience.

We offer the following courses at our Derby campus:

  • BA (Hons) Sport and Exercise Studies
  • Joint Honours Sport and Exercise Studies
  • MRes in Sport and Exercise

Buxton

 

At the campus in Buxton there are two main programmes - the Joint Honours in Sport and the Foundation Degree Science (FDSc) in Sport Coaching.

The Joint Honours has four distinct subjects which you can do in combinations.

  • Sport Development
  • Sport Coaching
  • Sport Psychology
  • Sports Massage and Exercise Therapy

These lead to either a BA or BSc Honours degree.
