The University of Derby announces new student annual Sports Centre membership price

The University of Derby announces new student annual Sports Centre membership price for just £99.

Oh yes, you read that right!

After receiving feedback from students and working alongside Nuffield Health and the Union of Students, this new offer has been created to not only add value for money but to enable students to lead active and healthy lives.

The changes are focused on enhancing the student experience, including more exclusive classes and a wider social sport programme.

With the addition of dedicated social and learning spaces, you can enjoy a positive and vibrant environment.  A ‘grab and go’ coffee offer is also on the cards to help kick-start your day.

The Sports Centre is offering annual memberships for £99 and monthly memberships for just £14, therefore with no joining fee and amazing facilities, there can be no excuses not to get active.

The facility offers a wide range of the most up to date gym equipment, with fully qualified staff on hand, who can help members achieve the most from each and every visit.

Connor Todd, Vice President (Sports), Union of Students (US), says: “I am delighted with the new membership prices.  We have worked with the University and Nuffield Health over the summer to listen to your feedback and create an offer which meets the needs of our students. The benefits of leading an active healthy lifestyle are well publicised and it’s important we make access to our own facilities as seamless as possible. I look forward to seeing many of you in the centre over the next year and beyond”

The student membership includes fully-equipped gym, class timetable, social sport, squash, badminton, tennis, climbing wall, and 3G pitches (specific times).
