The University of Derby Cycling Club (UDCC) is both a competitive and recreational club catering for all disciplines and abilities within cycling. We offer social road and mountain bike rides to the club members as well as access to the velodrome for the track riders. The club has seen huge growth in the last couple of years and is now recognised as a performance sport by the Union of Students and Team Derby; because of this we receive additional funding providing coaches, training sessions, strength and conditioning and race entry. The Club is seeking to continue to grow all aspects; in particular identifying and developing talent from amateur athletes.

The club offers additional training to the performance squad who have had considerable success in 2017, and are set for an even bigger 2018.
